I just finished the story I have been working on for months, which I rather like. It is a modern retelling of East of the Sun, West of the Moon, which is one of my favorite fairy tales. *does a happy dance around her room*

Huzzah indeed! The completion of a story is cause for celebration indeed! I offer you some of the peanut butter cookies I made yesterday, and a peppermint chocolate truffle. :D

The family-run candy shop downtown just started making chocolate peppermint truffles recently (or at least they recently set them out in the front of the display where I could see them; I can't imagine not noticing them), and they are heavenly. :D
