My cat is currently living with my parents, because we can't have cats at our apartment, and because Percy needs insulin shots twice daily, and that isn't something we're able to do (we're often gone). I just talked to my mom and found out that we'll have to put Percy to sleep in the next week or so, because he's really been deteriorating. At this point, it is a quality of life issue. So today we are driving to my parents so that I can say goodbye. 

This is never easy, and Percy is my cat of fifteen thirteen years, since my junior year of high school.
