Guys, guys, THERE'S A NEW MCKINLEY COMING OUT IN NOVEMBER!! If it was anyone else writing about telepathic flying horses, I wouldn't touch it with a very long pole (so very much a chance that it would be wish fulfillment, although I should point out that that is the sort of book I would have loved in my horse crazy growing up days), but it's a new McKinley (and I shall overlook the fact that Pegasus is really a name, not a species, because it is McKinley).
