Jan. 21st, 2010 09:05 pmOf all the friends I've had who've gotten married, there's only one set of pictures that I actually like. I'm ever so picky about pictures, because my mom is a photographer (and a good one, and was a wedding photographer for a while). I like artistic, yes, and pretty, but also classic. I want the occasional experimental fuzzy focus, funky framed sort of picture, taken at a weird angle, but only occasionally. I also want good poses where people's heads aren't cut off, that are interesting but where you can still see everyone and tell what they look like, with a better background than a projector screen. If I could, I would want my mom and I to take my own wedding pictures, were I to get married. This is one of the downsides of knowing what a good picture looks like. It bothers me when bad pictures are taken (and some aren't bad, exactly, but they are bad as portrait type pictures, they would be fine if you didn't care about people's faces or dresses).
