THE WIZARD OF OZ, in the style of BUFFY
DOROTHY, a SLAYER, and her friend TOTO, a small WEREWOLF, accidentally wander into a portal into another dimension that transports them to the strange land of OZ. GLINDA, a WATCHER, tells them that the only one who can help them is the WIZARD, who lives in the EMERALD CRYPT. They set out underneath the YELLOW BRICK ROAD using the SEWER SYSTEM, and encountering various dangers along the way. They meet the SCARECROW, a ZOMBIE who is looking for brains, the TIN MAN, a VAMPIRE who wants a real heart, and the COWARDLY LION, a BOOGEYMAN who is afraid of everything, even his own shadow. The wizard promises to help them only if they bring back an artefact; the BROOM of the WITCH. Dorothy and her friends fight the FLYING MONKEYS and melt the witch, but the wizard only wanted the artefact so he could leave, and Dorothy is stranded. Glinda explains that she mistranslated the runes on the portal, and Dorothy can leave anytime she wants. But does Dorothy really want to go back toKANSAS SUNNYDALE?
